Where I’ve Been

Admittedly, I take a certain joy out of seeing just how much of the world I’ve covered in my travels. I like checking off countries from my “to visit” list, and I love looking at maps and being able to say, “I’ve been there…and there….oh, and there, too!” And I get an equal amount of pleasure out of the vast number of countries I haven’t been to, as well. That just means that there’s so much for me to still see.

If you want to see a more detailed account of where I’ve been, you can visit my TravellersPoint map here. But if you’re not interested in the nitty, gritty details, the one on this page will probably suffice!

On the map below, the blue denotes where I’ve already been. (Hong Kong and Macau, apparently, are too small to show up on the map when zoomed completely out, but they’ve been marked, too.) Because WordPress blogs don’t support JavaScript, I’m afraid I can’t feature one of those fancy interactive maps with exciting bells and whistles like zoom. But if your world geography is a bit rough around the edges, here’s a list of the countries that have been marked on the map:

  • Germany
  • Japan
  • United States of America
  • Belgium
  • United Kingdom
  • France
  • Spain
  • Canada
  • Denmark
  • Czech Republic
  • India
  • Nepal
  • Indonesia
  • Hong Kong
  • Macau
  • New Zealand
  • Austria
  • Switzerland
  • Lichtenstein
  • Greece
  • Turkey
  • United Arab Emirates
  • Thailand
  • Taiwan
  • South Korea

    1. Haha, were I to be totally honest, the entire map would be green! However, for now I’ve only marked the places I have tentative future plans to visit. As in, of course I want to get to Australia…but it’s not high on my priorities at the moment. 🙂
